消防員工作權益促進會今(30)日前往行政院抗議賴清德院長主張捕蜂捉蛇業務回歸消防隊。消防員今天公開呼籲，讓消防弟兄列席行政院有關「捕蜂捉蛇業務回歸會議」，傾聽第一線基層人員的心聲。
副理事長余宗翰表示，27日新竹縣工廠火災導致年僅21歲的消防員於搶救過程殉職，這顯示初期派遣人力不足的問題。賴清德希望消防員「做功德」，但消防員不應過勞「功德致死」。
余宗翰說，賴清德主張捕蜂抓蛇業務回歸各地消防隊，但卻沒有傾聽第一線基層人員的心聲，他們公開呼籲行政院讓他們列席會議表達意見。
★消防員工作權益促進會3點訴求：
1.讓基層消防員列席行政院相關會議。
2.行政院應履行之前捕蜂抓蛇業務回歸農政體系的決議，且每年應撥足4.2億元經費給農政單位。
3.從明(107)年度起，消防員不應執行捕蜂抓蛇的業務。
